Victoria Petroleum N.L. as operator for the PEL 104 Joint Venture advises that The Short Term Production Test (STPT) carried out over the weekend at Tigercat-1 has resulted in a measured swabbed flow of oil into the well bore at a rate of 150 barrels of oil per day from the Birkhead Formation.
Following analysis of the STPT results from Tigercat-1 in order to optimize future production, it is planned to apply for an Extended Production Test for Tigercat-1 to commence late 2009, subject to regulatory and PEL 104 Joint Venture approvals. Tigercat-1 in PEL 104, drilled 7.54 kilometres east of the Growler Oil Field, targeted the Birkhead sandstone reservoir oil productive in the Growler Oil Field, but in a separate structure at Tigercat -1.
The participants in Tigercat-1 and PEL 104 and their respective interests through their wholly owned subsidiaries are as follows;

Roma Petroleum N.L. 20%
