GAZ-SYSTEM confirms that it was notified by the Danish party to the Baltic Pipe project – ENERGINET – that the Environmental and Food Appeals Board repealed the environmental permit formerly issued by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency with regard to the construction of Baltic Pipe gas pipeline on land across Denmark.

The decision of the Danish Environmental and Food Appeals Board shall have no effect on the implementation of the Baltic Pipe project by GAZ-SYSTEM.

ENERGINET is currently reviewing the consequences of the said decision in terms of its impact on the continuation of onshore construction activities in Denmark, particularly within the sites inhabited by protected animal species listed in the revoked environmental permit.
