The CO2 fine injection technology implemented by PetroChina's Liaohe Oilfield this year has accumulated more than 600 tons of oil, and the input-output ratio is up to 1:2.5, to provide strong technical support for the green and low-carbon development of oilfields.
It is understood that this year Liaohe Oilfield will focus on the "dual carbon" goal and follow the three-step deployment of "clean replacement, strategic succession, and green transformation" to accelerate CCUS and other measures to increase oil efficiency, increase efficiency and reduce carbon. In view of the actual situation that the throughput of heavy oil development blocks is increasing and the effect of conventional throughput is deteriorating, the scientific research personnel of the Oil Production Institute of the Liaohe Oilfield Drilling and Production Technology Research Institute are actively exploring carbon dioxide fine huff and puff to improve the production effect of oil wells.
In order to ensure proper well selection for fine carbon dioxide injection, scientific media combination, appropriate timing, reasonable parameters, and optimal measures, researchers carefully collected single well geological data and injection-production data for the implementation of carbon dioxide-assisted huff and puff in the Liaohe Oilfield in the past three years, and analyzed and evaluated measures. Effect, determine the sensitive parameters of the measures and their evaluation indicators, and establish quantitative standards for the selection of wells for the measures; strengthen the “geological process integration” research, and use the respective effects of carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and surfactants to form Three different ways of injecting media were combined, and through theoretical calculations and numerical simulations, an optimized design method for carbon dioxide injection parameters was formed, and the reasonable injection volume and optimal injection timing were determined.
Since the beginning of this year, the technology has been implemented in 11 wells, injected 878 tons of liquid carbon dioxide, increased oil by 606 tons, saved 722 tons of steam injection, and achieved economic benefits of 1.9 million yuan, providing important technology for the green and low-carbon CCUS project in Liaohe Oilfield. demonstration. In this process, Liaohe Oilfield has also prepared CCUS technical reserves, carried out the top-level design project of "CCUS-EOR Injection Production Technology Research and Demonstration", and identified 6 scientific and technological research topics.
