TATNEFT Is Expanding a Compacted Well Grid Drilling Project

The Company received approval from Glavgosexpertiza for the construction of 9 new wells at the Yamashinskoye field.
According to the project approved by the state body the plans provide for well infrastructure development of 9 production wells at two well pads of the TATNEFT’s oil field in 2022. All in all, the plans provide for drilling and infrastructure development of 36 wells at the TATNEFT’s Yamashinskoye field in 2022 within the framework of the project for the fields’ development using the technology of compacted well grid drilling pattern of small-diameter wells. The potential well stock for the technology application in this field is more than 100 wells.
The compacted well grid drilling technology is a highly efficient method for increasing the Company's oil production with application of an innovative solutions set.
The project implementation is envisaging 100% import substitution. are more than 1,700 wells with cumulative production of over 3 million tonnes commissioned at TATNEFT to date drilled within the compacted grid drilling project.
