Petrobras Announces LNG Regasification Terminal Lease
Source: www.gulfoilandgas.com 8/26/2021, Location: South AmericaPetrobras informs, regarding the leasing process of the LNG Regasification Terminal of Bahia (TR-BA) and associated facilities, that the stage of verification of the effectiveness of the commercial proposal and negotiation, provided for in the bidding notice, has been completed. Excelerate Energy Comercializadora de Gas Natural Ltda. (Excelerate) advanced to the enable step.
Once all the necessary documentation has been received to assess Excelerate's legal and economic-financial aspects and having complied with all the requirements set forth in the notice, the process will be sent for approval by the competent authorities of Petrobras, with a view to authorizing the execution of the contractual instruments of the lease.
The lease is in line with the company's strategy of improving its capital allocation and building a favorable environment for the entry of new investors in the natural gas sector.
