Sonomatic are proud to announce the award of a substantial contract for the provision of Non-Intrusive Inspections (NII) with Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) in Kazakhstan. All work will be carried out in accordance with NII Recommended Practice (RP) HOIS-RP-103.
Dr Kevin McDonald, Sonomatic Principal Integrity Engineer and co-author of the NII RP, said, “We are delighted to have secured this contract with KPO. Sonomatic have long been industry leaders in the development and implementation of NII and this contract is recognition of that. We are seeing increased levels of operators using our NII services as they have the knowledge that NII will be implemented in full compliance with the RP which leads to savings through increased production; KPO’s decision to award us this contract is testament to that.”
