Quick Release Mooring Hook Project for FSRU Toscana

For safe side by side mooring a complete mooring system will be added on the FSRU Toscana which is permanently moored about 22 km off the Italian coast between Livorno and Pisa, in the Region of Tuscany. This total project includes 6 x double Quick Release Mooring Hooks for FSRU, all with explosion proof capstans, remote release system and ATEX certified load cells for a continuous measurement of the mooring loads. A central monitoring system in the control room will show alarms, visualization and history of the load monitoring and offers a release function for each and all hooks.
