Matrix Renewables Enters Italy through 420-MW Solar Partnership

Matrix Renewables, the TPG-backed global renewable energy platform, has announced the signing of a new strategic partnership agreement with Horus Green Energy Investment to co-develop nearly 420MW ground-mounted solar portfolio in Sicily and Lazio, Italy. The first stage of this portfolio is expected to reach ready-to-build status by 2022.

This partnership and acquisition sees Matrix entering the Italian market for the first time with the ambition to operate at least 500 MW in the solar, storage, and wind sectors throughout the country.
