Petrobras Wins Tender for Leasing of Maritime Terminal at the Port of Santos

Petrobras won the tender for the lease of the port facility for the storage and handling of fuels, called STS08A at the Port of Santos, promoted by the National Waterway Transport Agency (ANTAQ), in Sao Paulo. The company offered R$ 558 million for the area and is awaiting ratification of the auction result to sign a 25-year lease.

Petrobras, through its subsidiary Transpetro, is the current lessee of the Santos Terminal and, with the result of the tender, guarantees the continuity of its logistics through this important asset for the flow of oil products produced in its refineries located in Sao Paulo.

As provided for in the invitation to bid, Petrobras will make investments to improve infrastructure in general, including the construction of a tank and a new pier.
