Equinor – Hammerfest LNG – Corporate Governance

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of Equinor’s corporate governance at Hammerfest LNG.

The audit was conducted in the period 11 May to 7 October 2021.

The objective of the audit was to verify that the company's management and follow-up of activities at Hammerfest LNG complies with the regulatory requirements.

Two non-conformities were identified, concerning:
• Requisite resources
• Organization of the work

No improvement points were identified.

What happens now?
We have asked Equinor to report on how the non-conformities will be addressed.

The deadline for reply is set at 12 January 2022.
