Var Energi – Jotun FPSO – Barrier Management

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of Var Energi and their management of barriers on the Jotun FPSO.

The audit was conducted from 5 to 7 October 2021. The audit was a continuation of the one conducted from 22 to 26 March 2021. You can read about this audit here.

Objective
The objective of the audit was to assess how Var Energi ensures compliance with regulatory requirements concerning the management of major accident risk and barriers in connection with the conversion of the Jotun FPSO at the Rosenberg shipyard.

Result
No non-conformities or improvement points were identified during the audit.
