Enauta signed the extension of the charter and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contracts for FPSO Petrojarl I for the Early Production System (“SPA”) of the Atlanta Field.

The contracts will have an additional duration of up to two years, expiring from May 2023 to May 2025. The cost to adapt the unit will be US$ 30 million.

The extension is conditional on obtaining a DNV Certificate (Det Norske Veritas), to be issued before the end of the current contract.

“This new term promotes the operational continuity of the Atlanta Field and may allow the temporary and simultaneous operation of the SPA and the Definitive System, if sanctioned, optimizing the transfer time of the wells from FPSO Petrojarl I to the new FPSO of the Definitive System. Another gain of the extension is the maintenance of Atlanta's operating cash flow for more than a year, as production interruptions between the end of the SPA and the start of operation of the SD can be avoided. In addition, the expansion of the water treatment capacity will reduce future restrictions of the existing production plant”, commented our COO, Carlos Mastrangelo.

An interruption of production is planned for 35 days to carry out maintenance on equipment that needs to be turned off. We continue to work so that these activities are carried out concurrently with the periodic stops established by the Ministry of Labor, thus reducing the need for additional stoppages.

The bidding process for the FPSO and other equipment for the Atlanta SD continues as planned. Enauta is evaluating the proposals received aiming at the definitive sanction of the project (Final Investment Decision – FID) in the first quarter of 2022 and the start of production of the SD in mid-2024.
