Australia's leading hydrogen fuel cell vehicle manufacturer H2X Global has inked an agreement with one of Sweden's major municipal waste companies to provide hydrogen-powered trucks and light vehicles.

Renova, owned by ten municipalities across Gothenburg in western Sweden, has signed a memorandum of understanding with H2X Global who will build the company five commercial vehicles:
One 18 tonne back loader truck.
One 28 tonne demountable truck .
Three 3.5 tonne tail lift vehicles.

The agreement creates an opportunity for H2X Global to grow its operations in Scandinavia and become a prominent producer of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the region.

Renowned for its innovative strategies in industry and technology, Sweden has stated its ambition to become the world's first fossil-free state. To get there, carbon from the transport sector must be reduced, meaning H2X's hydrogen vehicles will play a crucial role in helping the country achieve this goal.
