HAM Chile, a subsidiary of HAM Group, has been the company selected to be in charge, together with Empresas Lipigas, of the design, construction and commissioning of a new Liquefied Natural Gas service station in Tabolango, Valparaíso region, 10 kilometers of Concon.
This new service station, which will be launched during the month of June and will be open to the public, will incorporate the latest technological innovations in this type of facility.
This project is possible thanks to Lipigas and the company Transportes Transviña, service station owner, who are experts in the transport of dangerous goods, who are committed to sustainable mobility, using LNG, a more environmentally friendly alternative to other fuels, reducing CO2 emissions, oxides nitrous and fine particles.
Esteban Rodríguez, manager of LNG, Biofuels and Green Hydrogen of Lipigas, has stated that “this new station will connect the regions of Valparaíso and Maule through a means of transport with cleaner energy. Our objective of having a green transport corridor at the national level is advancing rapidly and we hope to soon implement new stations that will be added to this one and the one in Linares”.
Lipigas, a company with a presence in Chile, Colombia and Peru, is a relevant player in the Latin American energy market, whose objective is to satisfy the energy needs of its clients with its combined products and solutions.
HAM Chile Spa, a leader in cryogenic equipment and works, has been working for several years in South America, allowing HAM Group to continue its expansion and maintain greater proximity to its customers.
