The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Eng. Mustafa Madeallah, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, held a meeting with the General Manager of National Energy Services Reunited (NESR), Libya branch Mr. Wissam Abu Turkia, and the director of business development of the company in the Libya branch Mr. Nizar Atika, in the presence of the Director of Production Department of the Foundation Mr. Anwar Aqeel.
The meeting saw the review of several projects in which NESR contributes with various companies of the NOC, the most important of which is success in partnership with Gulf Company, in the project of studying and improving production in closed wells and low-productivity wells, and prospective projects.
NESR officials confirmed their keenness to complete the pre-agreed projects and anticipated projects. For his part, Engineer Mustafa Madeallah, the work done by NESR in the Libyan oil sector, praised the company for considering the unusual circumstances that NOC is going through, stressing NOC's support for it to continue working with Gulf Company and transfer its expertise to various companies to contribute to improving the performance of wells and increasing production.
During the meeting, it was agreed that NOC would attend the opening of NESR's submersible electric pump workshop in Benghazi.
NESR carries out many activities and businesses in the Libyan oil sector, most notably providing technical support and consultation on wells with complex problems, to Oasis, Zlav, Meleta, Al-Harrouj, Akakos and others.
