Diebold Nixdorf, a global pioneer in enabling linked commerce, has signed a multi-year framework agreement with Alfen. Diebold Nixdorf will supply field services for Alfen's charging equipment across its growing electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Europe as a preferred partner. Diebold Nixdorf is the appropriate worldwide partner to assist Alfen in meeting the rapidly increasing demand for its smart, resilient, and high-tech charging stations, as well as increasing availability for electric vehicle owners.
“We’re very excited about our latest agreement with Diebold Nixdorf,” said Michelle Lesh, Chief Commercial Officer at Alfen. “The demand for fast and reliable charging has grown rapidly in the last few years with an increasing number of European retailers turning to Alfen for our market-leading charging solutions. Joining forces with a strong partner like Diebold Nixdorf will help Alfen maintain our high-quality standards in our services and underline our ambition to deliver fast and reliable charging solutions all across Europe.”
Alfen’s charging stations require very little maintenance. However, updates, corrections and preventive upkeep can be necessary at times. Diebold Nixdorf will provide these field services as Alfen’s preferred partner in a number of European countries. “We look forward to helping Alfen meet its high-quality standards by delivering fast and reliable charging to a growing number of electric vehicle drivers all over Europe,” said Dr. Ulrich Naeher, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Diebold Nixdorf. “Our DN AllConnect ServicesSM enables partners like Alfen to keep pace in the fast-growing EV ecosystem as it offers the essential experience, scale and capabilities to monitor and maintain their charging infrastructure.” With this framework agreement, both partners are taking an important step to drive Alfen’ charging equipment’s expansion in Europe.
Alfen and Diebold Nixdorf plan to expand their partnership in the future as Alfen continues to rapidly expand its pan-European charging infrastructure to meet the fast-growing demand for reliable charging at home, in the workplace and at the public charging areas. The partnership starts in four countries with the possibility to expand further across Europe in the future.
