PJSC Gazprom and the Chelyabinsk Region for the first time signed a program for the development of gas supply and gasification of the region. The document is valid until the end of 2025.
Gazprom will reconstruct and upgrade seven gas distribution stations (GDS) — Balashikha, Yeleninsky, Karabash, Kunashaksky, Kyshtym, Mitrofanovsky and Chelyabinsk GDS-1. It will lay a gas pipeline jumper from the Mitrofanovsky GDS to the existing networks.
These stations provide gas supply to consumers of the administrative center of the region — the city of Chelyabinsk, the cities of Zlatoust, Karabash, Kyshtym and adjacent settlements, as well as Kartalinsky, Kunashaksky and Sosnovsky districts. At the same time, at present, the capacities of the GDS are fully utilized.
Increasing the capacity of these stations will make it possible to connect new consumers to gas. 22,000 households and 32 boiler houses will have access to gas networks. Conditions will be created for the development of housing construction, including in the north and east of Chelyabinsk.
