The Minister of Oil affirmed the keenness of the ministry to upgrade the service sectors in Basra Governorate, enhance infrastructure, and encourage and increase investment opportunities, in a way that contributes to support and activate the economic movement. This came during a meeting with the Member of Parliament for Basra Governorate, Dhurgham Sabah Al-Maliki.
The Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismail, said that the ministry and the National Oil Company place a priority for supporting social services projects, including the regions north of Basra that receive attention and follow-up from officials in the ministry and national companies in the province, affirming that the ministry makes an efforts to increase and enhance investment opportunities, in the interest of the public. It has also discussed joint cooperation with a view to improve the services provided to citizens.
