Submarine Cable Laying Operations

Cable ship Etisalat assisted by self-propelled pontoon will be involved in the deployment and laying of fiber optic cables which will be attached to the seabed.

The work activities will be carried out between Jabal Dhana and Sir Bani Yas Island during day and night times (nonstop 24 hours).

Effective date: 2 to 30 November 2022.

Location: Within Mugharraq Port limits adjacent to Jabal Dhanna Port.

Reference UKHO Chart: Admiralty chart number BA 3179 and related adjoining charts.

All vessels to monitor VHF Channel 08 and to navigate with extreme caution and keep clear of Cable Ship Etisalat.
