Gamesa Electric reaches a new agreement for the 18th time with our client, to commission a brand-new renewable energy power plant between the municipalities Hol, and Nore – Uvdal, in southeast Norway.

Godfarfoss, that could be translated as “The Grandfather Falls” will produce about 40,000 MWh of clean and renewable electricity from hydropower per year. This corresponds to the electricity consumption of about 2.000 households.

This client has trusted our products and team capabilities as together, we have installed a total of 514 MW, in 10 different countries.

The total supply for this project will be of one 10 MW Gamesa Electric synchronous hydro generator for the brand new Hydro Power Plant.
