Compared with traditional chemical materials, new chemical materials have the characteristics of excellent performance, strong functionality, high technical content, and high added value. Lanzhou Petrochemical has thoroughly implemented the production plan of new chemical materials, increased the development of new chemical materials, research and development of its own technology, and expanded high-efficiency products. At present, the company's new chemical material products have covered many high-tech industries such as medical polyolefin, metallocene polyolefin, supercapacitor film, ultra-high voltage cable material, microcrystalline electronic protective film and special nitrile rubber. The company continues to develop ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene products, further enriches the product categories of metallocene polyolefins, medical polyolefins and ultra-high voltage cable materials, and further expands into the field of higher-end chemical new materials such as POE and EVA.
In 2022, Lanzhou Petrochemical will continue to expand production of new chemical materials relying on its own technology. The self-designed and modified 60,000-ton/year metallocene polyethylene production device broke the technical monopoly of foreign patentees on metallocene polyethylene, and achieved stable production of 2 series and 6 brands of products, with a cumulative production and sales of more than 80,000 tons. At the same time, this production technology has been promoted and applied in the company's 300,000 tons/year gas-phase polyethylene plant, and mPE1018 and mPE3706 products have been produced. The expanded production of polyethylene products has created favorable conditions.
The company continues to expand the users of high-efficiency new material products. In response to the actual situation that the downstream demand for one-step medical polypropylene infusion bottles and polyethylene ampoules has increased significantly, the company overcomes the impact of the epidemic, and immediately connects with downstream users via video, and promptly eliminates downstream users’ concerns Concerned about the substitution of high-end products by localization, the expanded production of medical polypropylene infusion bottles/infusion bags, one-step polypropylene infusion bottles and special materials for polyethylene ampoules has been realized. In 2022, the output of these three special material products will increase by 25.81%, 439.91%, and 82.65% respectively compared with 2021.
