Equinor EPN – Infield Pipelines, Risers & Control Cables

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of Equinor Exploration & Production North (EPN) concerning the integrity management and follow-up of infield steel pipelines, risers and control cables. The audit was conducted on 22 November 2022.

Objective
The objective of the audit was to gain an overview of EPN's integrity management and follow-up of infield steel pipelines, steel risers and control cables. We wanted to see how EPN follows up the integrity of the systems and ensures that they take a holistic approach to safe operations in accordance with their own requirements and the HSE regulations.

Result
No non-conformities or improvement points were identified.
