The President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), Rovshan Najaf, met with the delegation led by the President of the "Turkey Petrolleri Anonim Ortakligi" (TPAO) company,
Melih Han Bilgi.
At the meeting, they expressed satisfaction with the strong friendship and fraternal relations between our countries, high-level strategic partnership, and noted that cooperation in all directions, including the energy field, is developing rapidly.
It was emphasized that TPAO, one of the first foreign investors in our country, has successfully partnered with SOCAR in strategic projects such as "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli", "Shah Deniz", "Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan", "South Caucasus Pipeline" in recent years. it was stated that the implemented projects made important contributions to the sustainable economic progress of both countries, energy security of the region and Europe.
Within the framework of the meeting, SOCAR's activities in Turkey, the Southern Gas Corridor project, as well as various topics of mutual interest were exchanged.
In the end, a number of cooperation documents were signed between SOCAR and TPAO.
