The Ryomo Line supplies natural gas to customers mainly located along the pipeline’s route. The double tracking is expected to increase the stability of the pipeline’s supply capacity and contribute to the further development of the northern Kanto region, north of Tokyo. The pipeline’s double tracking infrastructure has a design pressure of 4.9 megapascals and a diameter of 267.4 millimeters (10 inches).
INPEX will make its energy supply infrastructure more resilient by strengthening and expanding its natural gas pipeline network, while thoroughly managing the safety of the network. The company seeks to provide as many customers as possible with security and peace of mind through stable access to natural gas.
