Qair, a leading independent renewable energy producer, is proud to announce its selection in the 2023 class of the French Tech 120 program.
The French Tech 120 is a French government program launched in 2019 to support the most successful companies with the capacity to become world-class technology leaders.
2023, a higher standard class
The French Tech 120 is aimed at high-potential companies, selected according to two modalities: either fundraising of at least €40 million, to embody investor confidence, or hyper-growth, to embody customer confidence.
For the first time since the program’s inception, the class of 2023 also takes a more comprehensive approach to performance, incorporating issues of ecological transition, gender equality and inclusion.
This selection thus recognizes Qair’s commitments to:
Ecological transition: Qair will carry out a carbon assessment by the end of 2023;
Parity: by submitting the results of its gender equality index to the French Tech Mission, Qair has also committed to implementing actions to improve it;
Inclusion: by initiating and leading a collective effort on these issues during the first half of 2023.
For Qair, this recognition reflects the company’s commitment to the energy transition. Since its creation, the Group has made it its mission to provide clean and affordable renewable energy for all. It develops solutions that are both innovative (floating wind, hydrogen, tidal power) and proven (onshore and offshore wind and solar, waste-to-energy and hydropower), with an emphasis on the robustness of its projects.
“We are pleased to have been selected as one of the winning companies of the French Next 120,” says Louis Blanchard, president of Qair Group. “This recognition shows that our company is on the right track to becoming a major player in the energy transition in France and around the world. We are determined to continue developing innovative solutions to help build a more sustainable future for all.“
