Construction on the Trans Mountain Expansion Project has reached a major milestone with nearly 80 per cent completion as of
March 2023.
This milestone includes 787 kilometres of pipe in the ground, the completion of 12 pump stations, more than 40,000 welds and the completion of 50 major trenchless crossings. Since construction on the Expansion Project began, there have been almost 30,000 individuals working across Alberta and British Columbia.
