Venterra Group Plc, the offshore wind energy services business, today announces David Crowther is to join as Group General Counsel on 17th April 2023.
Venterra was formed to create a global services champion supporting the offshore wind industry’s rapid expansion and leading role in the energy transition. It is building a service offering across the wind farm lifecycle, comprising Engineer, Build and Support services. It is expanding by both acquisition and investing for accelerated organic growth.
David Crowther was previously Deputy General Counsel at Paysafe. During his seven years at Paysafe, the business grew from being an AIM Listed UK business, was acquired by a consortium of funds managed by CVC Capital Partners and Blackstone and subsequently listed in 2021 on the New York Stock Exchange.
He has a broad range of corporate, M&A, commercial, tax and compliance experience. Before joining Paysafe he spent eleven years at BP plc in a variety of roles including Group Corporate & Regulatory Manager.
David joins a strong corporate team supporting Venterra’s member companies and driving Group strategy to acquire and grow services businesses in the global offshore wind industry.
