CNPC Commences Construction of Myanmar-China PL

On October 31, the lunching ceremony of the Myanmar-China Crude Pipeline wharf project was held at Kyaukryu port, the central part of the west coast of Myanmar. Myanmar Minister for Energy Brig-Gen. Lun Thi and CNPC Vice President Liao Yongyuan jointly announced the commencement of the project.

The Myanmar-China Crude Pipeline will extend for 771km from Kyaukryu port to Ruili of Yunnan Province in China, with a designed annual deliverability of 12 million tons at the first stage.
