Engineering hosted the 59th working meeting of the study committee (SC) C2 (Power System Operation and Control) of the Croatian National Committee of the International Council on Large Electric Systems (HRO CIGRE).
In addition to the usual topics related to the activities of the committee and its participation in the organization and preparation of the forthcoming 16th HRO CIGRE Session in Šibenik, three professional lectures were held. Colleague Krešimir Vrdoljak, PhD, held a lecture on the economic and energy contributions of generation centers in the processes of planning and operational decision-making. Domagoj Peharda, PhD, held a lecture on the new developments in the application of CIM standards, while Tomislav Stupic gave a lecture on the project of upgrade of the central SCADA/EMS management system of HOPS. The working meeting was conducted by the Chairman of the Committee, Danko Blaževic, M.Sc. from HOPS, along with members from HOPS (Croatian Transmission System Operator), CROPEX, KONCAR, EIHP (Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar), FSB (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture), FER (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing), FERIT (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology), University North and HEP Proizvodnja (Generation).
