Mandatory Usage of One Mobile Harbour Crane at Berths

A policy has been formulated to make the use of at least one Port Mobile Harbour Crane [MHC] for the vessels of general cargo berthing at Berth No 2, 3 & 4, other than vessels requiring special equipment for handling such as ODC cargo.

Accordingly, deployment of one Port MHC shall be mandatory (subject to availability) for handling of cargo (other than ODC Cargo) at Berths No. 2, 3 & 4 with effect from 23 June 2023.
