Cumulative Gas Production from Fuling Shale Gas Field Exceeds 60 Billion Cubic Meters

The Fuling shale gas field has produced more than 60 billion cubic meters of gas since it was put into operation. For more than 10 years, it has continuously supplied green energy to more than 70 cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt. , to promote the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

Sinopec has explored and formed the binary enrichment theory of marine shale gas in the south, and developed core technologies such as comprehensive shale gas geological evaluation, development design and optimization. At the same time, it has given full play to the advantages of the entire industry chain and independently developed grid-connected electric drilling rigs and full-voltage fracturing machines. All equipment, tools, and key equipment such as units are domestically produced, strongly supporting and leading the high-quality development of my country's shale gas industry.

As my country's first large-scale shale gas field put into commercial development, the Fuling shale gas field currently has cumulative proven reserves of nearly 900 billion cubic meters. It has put into operation the first domestic shale gas produced water treatment project, with a wastewater treatment qualification rate of 100%. The Ministry of Natural Resources evaluated it as creating a green model for China's shale gas development.
