Proxigas, an association representing companies in the gas sector, has appointed Cristian Signoretto as the new President for the 2023-2025 term. Among the elected Vice Presidents who make up the Board of Directors is Cecilia Gatti, Executive Director of Institutional Affairs at Snam, who will serve in this role alongside Cristina Crotti (President of Gruppo Enercom), Pier Lorenzo Dell’Orco (CEO of Italgas Reti), Fabio Dubini (Gas & Power Portfolio Management & Optimization Director at Edison), and Marco Massimiano (Head of Regulatory and Antitrust Italy at Enel).
Cecilia Gatti has accumulated over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, holding various roles of increasing responsibility. From 2009 to 2011, she served in a collaborative role at the Ministry of Economic Development as an assistant to the Department Head for Energy at MISE. Since 2011, at the Authority for Electricity, Gas, and Water Systems, she has served as an Assistant to the Board (Members and President). From 2014, she has been the Director of External Relations, Institutional Affairs, and Documentation at the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks, and the Environment (ARERA). In 2019, she became the Manager for Relations with Italian and European institutions at Snam and subsequently, over the following three years, she assumed the role of Regulatory & Institutional Affairs Director at Axpo. Since the end of 2022, she has been serving as Executive Director of Institutional Affairs at Snam.
