The technical and engineering personnel of the Iraqi Drilling Company completed the drilling of the MJ-159 directional oil well for the Basra Oil Company as part of a project to drill 42 oil wells in the Majnoon oil field in cooperation with Halliburton Company to provide oil services. The director of the company's first operations department, Mr. Muhannad Makki Tarish, said that the drilling operations were carried out using the modern IDC-56 drilling rig with a horsepower capacity of 2000 horsepower, using a directional drilling method with an inclination angle of 38 degrees and a depth of 3310 metres, indicating that the company's personnel completed drilling the well in 35 days, which is It is standard.
