For the fourth consecutive year, Alliant Energy is acknowledged as a “Top Utility” by Business Facilities magazine. Each year the publication salutes the top utilities across the country, recognizing excellence among electric and gas utilities with respect to projects, programs and service initiatives.
In 2023, Alliant Energy partnered with community and state economic development professionals on 50 announced industrial and warehouse projects. These projects created $3.6 billion in new capital investment and 4,084 new jobs across Iowa and Wisconsin. Alliant Energy is the only utility company in Iowa and Wisconsin acknowledged for this prominent honor.
“The collaborative relationships we maintain with our economic development partners play a significant part in our success,” said Lisa Barton, President & CEO, Alliant Energy. “We appreciate the ‘Top Utility’ acknowledgment by Business Facilities magazine once again and are proud to serve our customers while building stronger communities.”
