The Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) has carried out an audit of integrated operations (IO) at Statfjord B. The audit was conducted from 13 to 16 November 2023.

Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify whether Equinor manages the drilling and well operations using an integrated operations model (IO) so as to contribute to a high level of HSE being established, maintained and developed.

Result
Four non-conformities were identified during the audit. These concerned:
• information on and facilitation of offshore-onshore monitoring and control
• responsibilities and authorities
• competence management
• continuous improvement.

What happens now?
We have asked Equinor to report by 15 March 2024 on how the non-conformities will be addressed.
