La Congolaise des Hydrocarbures (Cohydro)

Cohydro (which means La Congolaise des Hydrocarbures) is a public company with technical, commercial and industrial interests. Its primary role can be defined as an institutional body in charge of the implementation of the national petroleum policy of DRC. The DRC government created, a national petroleum company, to gain some form of control within the country’s supply and distribution, but also to be involved in the growing exploration industry and developing oil industry.

The main goals in Cohydro are exploration-Production, Refining, Supply, Transport-Storage (as part of SEPs) and Distribution.
