Matador Resources Company

Matador Resources Company is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development, production and acquisition of oil and natural gas resources in the United States. The focus is on unconventional resource plays with a strong emphasis on shale plays. Matador participated in the assimilation of numerous lease positions and in the drilling and completion of hundreds of vertical and horizontal wells in unconventional resource plays and operate about half the wells we drill.

Matador Focus on exploration and development on the Eagle Ford Shale and Haynesville Shale assets. The operations are primarily in the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas, the Haynesville Shale, including Middle Bossier Shale, and traditional Cotton Valley and Hosston (Travis Peak) plays in Northwest Louisiana and East Texas, Meade Peak Shale in Southwest Wyoming, Northeast Utah and Southeast Idaho and Delaware & Midland Basins in Southeast New Mexico and West Texas.
