No company has more experience in the supply of natural gas liquefaction processes and equipment than Air Products. It helped pioneer the LNG industry and has been designing liquefaction systems and supplying main cryogenic heat exchangers for plants all over the world for the past 30 years. Air Products' liquefaction process technology and equipment have been selected for 15 of the 19 LNG plants currently operating or under construction representing over 90% of the world's baseload LNG capacity. To date, we've designed and built over 60 main cryogenic heat exchangers at our Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania manufacturing facilities for customers in 10 countries worldwide.
The key to our success has been Air Products' MCR (multi-component refrigerant) liquefaction process and MCR main cryogenic heat exchanger. Air Products' unique ability to integrate the liquefaction process design and the mechanical design of the main cryogenic heat exchanger leads to an optimization of performance and reliability that has become the benchmark of the LNG industry.
Phase separation: conventional separators, floating production separators (Split Flow), subsea production separators, electrostatic coalescers.
Gas dehydration: open art glycol processes, solid bed dessicant units, advanced proprietary glycol (Drizo, Progly, Trimdryer) or methanol (Ifpexol) processes.
