EPIC of Butane Supply

The required works consists of following 2 parts:
I. The company NGL plant supplies butane from both butane tanks T1 and T2 to QAFAC and Q-CHEM plants. Current operational conditions are insufficient with inadequate tie-ins and piping connections with other butane tanks T3 and T4, which does not allow satisfactory flexibility of butane, supply to QAFAC and Q-CHEM plants. Due to this reason, it is proposed to install more effective tie-ins and piping connections with tanks T3 and T4 in order to achieve much more flexibility in butane supply to QAFAC and QCHEM plants. The existing butane circulation pumps 2507&2508 of butane tanks T-3 and T-4 shall be replaced with two new butane circulation pumps with higher capacity of 367 m3/h (each), similar to the existing pumps located in butane tanks T1 and T2.

II. Demolish the existing surge tank 403-70-T-04, and to provide a new surge tank with accessories of the same design capacity, in accordance with API 650, together with its associated facilities. Additionally, modification of existing firewater system at MPB terminal area is also envisaged.
