Technical conditions for Al-Thawra main pipeline.

Seamless steel linepipes acc. to APL 5L – X42(PSL2), coated by polyethylene coating 2.5 mm thickness as minimum in accordance with DIN 30670. And the coating test should be 20 K.V as minimum using electrical holyday detector. Beveled ends for welding acc. to ANSI B16.25, double random Length (10-13) m, suitable for sour service acc. to NACE MR 01-75 (L.E). The hardness at any point shall not exceed than 22 HRC. Pipe, shrink sleeve and coating repair materials to coat and repair the field's joints.

Required quantities are as the following:

- 24000 m, w. thickness 0.365", O.D 10 3/4", shrink sleeve's quantity 2400 Pc and coating repair materials quantity 50 m.
