The company requires a tool that will provide a consistent and repeatable process for all aspects of BCMS development and execution. The company BCMS focuses on resilience in day-to-day business operations, not just response and recovery activities. The company BCMS is required to demonstrate process maturity, status and effectiveness on an ongoing basis. Therefore, a BCMS solution will be used to provide a sophisticated program and analytics through improved metrics, what-if modeling, dashboarding and reporting of all resources used to deliver QP's products/services. BCMS solution will automate BCM planning life cycle processes (e.g., risk assessment for availability, business impact analysis, business continuity response plans, RTO, RPO and others) that are defined, communicated and agreed upon on a corporate level. BCMS solution will formalize and standardize BCMS processes with value add to the company, which will be reflected not only on BCMS functionality/capabilities but also on the level of effort required to maintain such a system.
