Mainstream has published its sixth Sustainability Report, showcasing our efforts to implement a green energy transition while creating a planet-positive impact in 2023.
The report presents a comprehensive overview of our initiatives, achievements, and future strategies towards strengthening and enhancing sustainable practices across our operations.
Highlights in 2023’s report include:
Our commitment letter to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) on Mainstream’s short- and long-term targets to reach net zero
Deeper integration of sustainability requirements into our Global Development Standard
Developing a Business Partner Code of Conduct for enhanced stakeholder engagement
Conducting a comprehensive materiality assessment and gap analysis to better prepare for upcoming sustainability reporting requirements.

The report is structured according to the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) four pillars of Good Governance, Respect for People, Planet-Positive Impact and Prosperity for All, supported by detailed case studies and stories of our impact in markets where we operate.
