Notice to Mariners: Geotechnical survey mobilisation

This Notice is to inform that Green Volt Offshore Windfarm Ltd will be carrying out a Geotechnical survey within the Green Volt array area.

The survey will be carried out by the Gardline vessel Kommandor Susan with mobilisation planned for the 15 April 2025 and the survey is anticipated to last until 25 May 2025. The Geotechnical survey will comprise of bore holes and Cone Penetration Tests (CPT) during this period.

Timeline:
Phase 1 targeted for completion by 21 May 2025

Next steps:
Phase 2 geotechnical campaign planned for summer 2025, covering the eastern side of the array

This mobilisation marks the start of geotechnical survey work on the western side of the Green Volt array area and is a crucial step in understanding the subsurface conditions and informing the design and installation of future infrastructure.
