Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., a leader in propulsion-agnostic bus and coach mobility solutions, today announced that it has supplied two further Enviro400 double deck buses to Greater London operator New Punjab Coaches.
New Punjab Coaches was founded in 1999 and specialises in UK tours, daily intercity services from West London to the West Midlands as well as Leicester, private hires and school transport.
The latest pair of high-capacity double deckers take the company’s Enviro400 complement to six vehicles, making up one third of its entire fleet of large buses and coaches.
At 84 fixed seats with three-point belts alongside an additional tip-up seat in the easily accessed wheelchair bay, the Enviro400 offer plenty of capacity for school work and private hires, reducing the number of vehicles required to move larger groups.
“The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 is a real winner for us”
Company director Jay Singh said: “The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 is a real winner for us, offering high capacity that is great not just for school services but also for weddings and other private hires. We’ve already been running the Enviro400 in our fleet for seven years and this new pair of double deckers further enhances our capabilities to respond to growing demand for our services.”
Mark Taylor, Regional Sales Manager for Alexander Dennis, added: “Congratulations to New Punjab Coaches on their latest investment in further Alexander Dennis Enviro400 buses. Britain’s favourite double decker is a steady performer for hires and school transport, making them ideal workhorses for modern fleet.”
