Sonatrach Announced 2 Discoveries in Illizi Basin

Sonatrach announced as part of its research two-hydrocarbon discoveries in the basin of Illizi. These discoveries were made after drilling of wells:
Akamil-2 (IAK-2) and Antar Est-2 (AARE-2) in Blocks 239a and 244a, located in the area of Tinrhert I Illizi Basin.
- IAK-2 well produced 4.094 m3/h of oil from the Upper Devonian reservoir F2 in the interval 1960 to 1967m with a wellhead pressure of 115 PSI on 32/64" choke.
- AARE-2 well produced 8070 m3 / h of gas and 3.68 m3/h of condensate from the Devonian F2 tank in the interval 2446 to 2460.5 m with a wellhead pressure of 1600 PSI on 32/64 "choke.
As a result of these new discoveries, Sonatrach recorded up to five discoveries by its own effort during the current year.
