National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has signed a contract with Oil Industries’ Engineering and Construction (OIEC) on building a LNG complex in Dehloran west of Iran.
Making above remarks, NOIC’s managing director; Ahmad Qalebani, added construction operations of the project, worth 1.4 billion dollars, would start next month.
According to Qalebani, the factory, named LNG 300, will be built in an area covering 110 hectare. The project plans not only to curb flaring of 270 million cubic feet of associated gases per day produced from the oil fields located in Northern Dezfoul region, but to produce 46 thousand barrels of +C2 as well as 79 million cubic feet of sweet gas, 105 million cubic feet of sour gas and 1170 barrels of sour gas liquid.
OIEC will build the factory in the form of an EPC contact over a 30 month period. The project includes construction of a gas burning power plant which would produce 150 megawatt of electricity per hour to meet the electricity needs of the complex and adjacent units.
