Miller Energy Resources, Inc. (the Company) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Cook Inlet Energy, LLC ("CIE"), has hired Conrad Perry as its Vice President and Drilling Manager.
Mr. Perry brings over 35 years of oil and gas operations experience in Alaska and in international assignments. The Company believes that his extensive experience in both onshore and offshore drilling, as well as remote operations with difficult logistical challenges, will bring immediate benefits to CIE and to the Company.

He has worked as an independent consultant since coming to Alaska in 1992, managing a variety of drilling and facility projects ranging from an isolated exploration well to the installation of a gravel island in the Arctic. He has previously performed consulting work for CIE relating to the Alaskan assets.
"Conrad brings a unique combination of extensive Alaska experience and worldwide drilling management expertise. We were pleased with the work that he previously performed for us as a consultant, and we are excited about adding this solid leader to our CIE team," said David Hall, Chief Executive Officer of CIE.
Mr. Perry graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California and has authored 5 technical and management papers.
