Last week HE Ali I. Al-Naimi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, announced Saudi Aramco's discovery of a new gas field in the Eastern Region. Zamlah-1, located 50 kilometers south of Ghawar field and 250 km southeast of Riyadh, has an average flow rate of 20 million standard cubic feet of associated gas with 1,400 barrels of condensates per day.
