Petchem Firm Offers to Build NGL Plants

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company is ready to invest in the construction of new natural gas liquid (NGL) plants, the company’s chief said.
Adel Nejad-Salim said NGL units in oil-rich regions in southern Iran would be of help for feeding petrochemical plants.
He said Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company will reach maximum production capacity if all condensate produced in oil-rich regions is gathered.
Nejad-Salim said the company supplied 15.5 million tons of petrochemicals in the last calendar year to March 2014.
He said Persian Gulf Petchem Company has no intention to produce gasoline due to the pollution it will create.
