Encore Networks, a leader in M2M solutions for fixed and wireless communications, announced that Verizon Wireless has certified Encore's EN-2000™ wireless broadband router for use on their 4G LTE network. After rigorous network compatibility testing, the EN-2000™ was approved for network connection for use in Distributed Enterprise and M2M applications supporting Business Continuity, Video Surveillance, Digital Signage and Remote Access.
The cloud-ready EN-2000™ is a high availability, full-featured, router that provides license free IP, VPN, Firewall, and Ethernet Switching. Enterprise customers can use 4G LTE as a primary or back-up network connection, eliminating the high costs of traditional wired networks and associated challenges including install times and outages. Manufactured in the USA with a three year warranty, the EN-2000™ has the lowest price point of any Verizon certified LTE only Enterprise router in the industry.
Peter Madsen, President of Encore networks said, "This Verizon certification further expands on the long standing relationship between our two companies, and increases our involvement in America's largest and most reliable 4G LTE network."
The EN-2000™ certification follows the EN-4000™ Verizon Wireless certification announced earlier this year. The
EN-4000™ broadband router provides additional hardware capacity, and flexibility and is available for extreme temperature hardened operations found in industrial and outdoor environments.
